I don't want to sound ungrateful because I have so much family here.

But at the same time, being shoved into a dimension where your friends don't really exist is like... really lame.



So I'm going to go buy a bunch of donuts and have a "Be my Friend" Party for anyone who wants to come.

It's cool that your parents are both superheroes. Mine are mad scientists who used to be super evil. I think they've sort of mellowed, but we don't really talk. I mean now we can't, but even before.

This is the thing about aliens: some of them are super cool and some of them are real assholes. Just like people, I guess. Have you met Groot? He's the super cute baby sapling running around here. I think his parents are aliens too, but they're the people kind, not the tree kind.

I think that is true for everything--- people, aliens, cats--- all those things.
