At first, I was just trying to make sure we were safe. But then I thought, ‘this is Iron Man’ so I figured that maybe he takes superhero interns or something and then I wouldn’t need to be a vigilante at all because I could be a Junior Avenger.

Which by the way, can I just get my high school diploma already? When Gert came back from the dead they made her redo her whole senior year and I’m not down for that at all. Unless... I mean it was 2022 when I left so maybe I already got it and just don’t know it yet?

I recruited a kid younger than you once. It is a lot of pressure. What sort of "interning" do you want to do that we need to keep it secret from your sister?

I have super strength. I’ve kind of been cleaning up the LA streets a bit in my free time, and Gert doesn’t like it. So I promised that I would learn more about this reality before I went back to my vigilante ways here.

But see if I’m working for the Avengers, that’s not being a vigilante at all, is it?
