17. My parents were super villain mad scientist gajillionaires. Maybe you've heard of PRIDE? They were sort of a big deal on the west coast, pretending to be philanthropists, funding an alien cult, that sort of thing.
I probably need to work on the whole college thing in order to start my own empire? I was sort of thinking about just being a masked vigilante, but I promised my sister I wouldn't.
I think the Avengers are probably an established enough... um... charitable organization? that she'll come around to it.
Besides, plan B was to try out for the Laker Girls, and I'm pretty sure Gert would rather I wear anything besides belly shirts to "exploit my body for male consumption."

I think every good vigilante needs a backup plan with a good education but don't take my word for it, I'm biased.
