[The image opened on a young woman sitting in her new apartment. She sat in her chair as though it were a throne, her posture perfect. Her hair was pulled back into a tight french braid that allowed not a strand to escape.]
[At odds with the the neat severity of the braid and her posture was that said braid terminated in a large black and silver scrunchie. She wore a black silk skirt with thin silver and gold threads and silver buttons etched with
circular script. The rest of what she was wearing could not be seen in frame, save for the top of one knee, as her legs were crossed. The top of that knee was clad in something black with a single silver spot. That spot would be slowly fading during the video, but not fully gone by the end.]
"I have been informed that I am to make you all aware of my presence. Very well. I have done that. Let me additionally make you all aware of one more thing," [she said, her voice smooth and even and uninflected.]
"That one thing is this. I do not want to be your friend, your girl friend, your confidant, or even your enemy. I do not wish to interact with anyone more than absolutely and utterly necessary, and as I can provide for myself, no contact is actually necessary. So for those of you who need it spelled out, here it is. I am Me, and I wish to be left alone. Those who try to force their company upon me shall regret it."
[She lowered her brows, and glared slightly at the phone.]
"This video does not require any replies, if you wish to acknowledge you have seen it and understand, do so by leaving Me alone."
[The screen cut to black even though she did not get up or give a voice command to the phone, and her hands - in view the whole time - were still.]
